DSE minitubs for 1st Gen Camaro

Have any of you used the DSE mini-tub kit for your first gen Camaros? I am already drawing out and planning the build of my 69 Camaro once I find a decent enough project and one of the first things I would like to do to the body is mini-tub it.

Im debating between having custom tubs made or just buying these ones Ive seen advertised in the Chevy magazines that the DSE company sells for all 1st Generation Camaros.

Hey black9 I have a 69 Camaro as well and I have heard that the DSE kit is a good mini-tub system. I personally havent used any of their stuff yet but I talked with a guy who builds racecars who recently installed a set of those DSE minitubs on a 68 Camaro and he said they fit pretty well. I may consider them myself in the future...

I would love to install these on my 68 I have seen quite a few 1st Gen Camaros with the DSE minitubs already and I really like the look of that huge tire in the back.

Here are a few 1st Gen Camaro pics I found while searching online for some and it looks really good. These are 69s but I imagine it would fit about the same tire for a 67 or 68 Camaro but not sure. Ill have to get in contact with Detroit Speed Engineering.
