Looking at buying used 2010 Camaro

Hey everyone I'm looking at buying a used 2010 Camaro but was wondering what you all think is a fair price to pay? I'm not sure what they would be going for and what would be the average amount of miles a 2010 Camaro should have. I know the average car gets around 10,000-15,000 miles per year so Im somewhat basing it off that.

Also is there any good ways to tell if the previous owner did any racing in their 2010 Camaro? I dont want to buy one that has been abused so any tips you guys could offer I would really appreciate.

Its tough to tell if its been raced or not you should just ask the owner a bunch of questions and use your best judgement on if you think he's telling you the truth. Also check to see if hes been doing all his regular maintenances... Your right 10,000-15k miles per year is about right or some averages can be as much as 20k miles. See what type of driving the guy does like if he does alot of freeway driving and you can ask him if theres and local racetracks where youre at... if he knows of all the tracks then its a good signs that Camaro has probably been raced. As far as price just keep checking online daily and check your local classifides. There are alot of people selling their Camaros now because of the current gas crunch we're having so keep that in mind...

I had a really hard time finding a 2010.. especially since i was looking in dealerships..but 1 dealership had like 6 or 7 for me to choose from (of course they knew i was looking for a 2010 and were ready for me). It only had 26K miles and was in beautiful condition...it was exactly what i wanted at a price i wanted to pay...well i did add an extended 5 star bumper to bumper and 3 years of On Star yada yada ..so it was a little more than i wanted to pay, but the base price was right on. The problem with buying from a private party is if it has low miles, does the warranty roll over to the new owner?..and you don't have the option of getting the extended warranty...hopefully i wont need it, but if i do... try the Chevy Dealer there in Ontario, CA if you are near by.

The factory warranty should roll over, and you can get aftermarket extended warranties. My credit union sells them, 0ffered it when I did my used 09 Yaris purchase.
I drive a hybrid, it burns gas and rubber.
