    Canon 60D for Camaro photos...

For those of you that have asked me about the camera I use and editing software for all the Camaro photography I do its the Canon 60D. Its a great camera and I use it all the time very user friendly but still professional enough to compete with the big boys like the 5D MarkII and others.

One of the things I really like about the Canon 60 for my Camaro pics is the flip out screen which gives a huge advantage for those higher angle or ground level shots that you often see in magazines and other places. I have the ability to see a live view with this camera while Im holding it above my head or below my knees.

As far as editing software goes I use photoshop primarily for my editing and "Camaro artwork" looks that some of you may have seen that Ive done. It is also great for HDR conversions (high dynamic range) for those of you that are unfamiliar with it. Some phones like the iphone 4 now have that HDR option to make your photos more clear and more similar to what the human eye sees. For quicker edits I use Adobe Bride and for super quick edits I will use iphoto. Let me know if you guys have any questions on photography or video I also use this camera for videos will be happy to help out.

Do you recommend any special setting on the camera for that one perfect shot?

Nice write up Joe. That flip out screen is a very cool option for those hard to grab shots.

Make sure that anytime you want to take those really blurred out shots that depth of field look that you are in AV mode on your camera and you have it set to the lowest dial so it blows out the background. Also zooming in on an item and being further away while being in that mode will make items extra blurry. What focal length lens are you using?

Also be sure when you take photos you follow the rule of thirds are you familiar with that photography rule?

For night shots that look really cool put your camera in the TV mode setting and play around with the dial there giving you more shutter time but you might need a tripod to avoid the blurryness often associated with longer shutter times...

Thanks man yes it makes a huge difference and has really helped me in many hard angle situations. Now that I have it I dont know what I would do without it on another camera! lol
