    1971 Chevelle SS

My Dad has a sweet 1971 Chevelle Super Sport which he is the original owner of he was a Staff Seargeant in the Vietnam Airforce and bought the car new when he came back. We have been restoring the car frame up since I was 16 years old it has been a long Father/ Son project which has been alot of fun. I thank my Dad for getting me super into muscle cars like old Chevelles and Camaros. Thanks Dad!

Once my husband is done with his '68 Camaro, I am hoping my LT-1 Trans Am will be next on the list of restoration projects! This is the one of the years that I prefer the look of Trans Am, particularly in the front end, a bit more than the Camaro...and with this one having the aluminum heads on it, and t-tops, we couldn't turn it down! I LOVE IT!

Wow that is a sexy ride just like your 69 convertible lol... reminds me of nightrider a bit just because it is so sleek. You have great taste in cars Michele! GREAT taste.

What mods have you done to this one? It just looks crazy fast!

Haven't done anything to it yet, other than rebuilding the rear end and transmission...but just back to stock. But honestly, just as it is that was plenty, cause it is crazy fast! We were surprised to find that it had the alum heads on it. Don't think the previous owner even knew it! It's got more horsepower than the 350 in the '69, for sure! My husband laughs at me when I tell him that car is next on the list, cause he hates working on it! ROTFLOL! I can wait a little while though...

Hahaha I bet he would much rather put the time into the classic Camaros. I know how that goes when you have a limited amount of time and a giant Camaro to-do next list. Do you ever work on the cars with him? You could be like a Batman and Robin Camaro duo husband-wife team that builds hot rods together!!!

By the way LOVE the new sig photo thats awesome, oh and PS. You will have to be warned of this Joseph too! Jus sayin

AMEN BROTHER! I noticed the KLove tab, and the links on the home page...figured you put them there for a reason, had to spread the love! And thank you...Figured I could put some of those photoshop skills to work!

I work on the cars a little bit with him, not as much as I used to...more cause of space and keeping the kiddos entertained more than anything. We used to rent a shop and we would spend alot of time down there, with our roommate. I would be learning how to weld, and working on my sculpture, and he would be working on one of the cars. Now those were the days....

Yes in today's world we all need that extra hope and encouragement, so the last time I was driving through Texas to visit my family I found that radio station and ever since I came back home to California I listen to it on a daily basis and it REALLY helps me to stay happy, successful and energized. I put it there in hopes to share that same positive energy with others who need it, or just want more awesomeness in their lives.

Thats awesome sounds like you guys had alot of fun together. Gonna be cool in the future to have a wife and share all those fun things with but I know I have to be patient and wait like a farmer waits, with patient endurance right?
