    Best nitrous system for Camaro?

Hey everyone whats the best nitrous system out there for an oldschool Camaro? A buddy of mine is building up his car and planning to add nitrous. I told him to go with NOS but I wasnt sure what the rest of you run.

Nitrous supply is located in Huntington beach. Tell your friend to talk to Wady Hayman.
He's been working with NOS most of his life. They are working on a system for my car.

    Heres a link... http://www.nitroussupply.com/

I have a NOS Cheater System on my 73. It has been mostly trouble free for 6 years. I did have to replace the seals in in the N20 solenoid after five years though. I run a 150hp shot. I have a very safe system, full throttle switch, low fuel pressure shut off switch and MSD auto retard timing control box.

Good info to have Chris thanks. Paul I forgot you were hiding nitrous under the hood. Its that cheater system that mounts under the air filter right? Which MSD box were you running the 6AL right? Thats on one of my next to-do lists

That air cleaner one is called a Top Shot Hidden system. Nitrous Oxide Systems (NOS) 05090NOS - NOS Top Shot Hidden Nitrous Oxide Systems - Overview - SummitRacing.com

And I was wrong, mine is a Super Powershot.

I run a standard MSD 6A box with no limiter. The retard box is a add on device that I can program with 4 different retard settings. One for cranking, one that retards 6* with the nitrous, one that adds timing back in at 6000rpm. I am not using the last one.

Oh cool sounds like a nice system I like how its hidden.

Without counting the nitrousin conjunction with the MSD, how much of a difference did you notice in power and drive-ability once you put in the MSD 6A box?

Oh ok Paul I understand now, thanks.

Its so cool how your Camaro is such a driver with nitrous and all! One day when I can afford an overdrive I am going to just about every cruise! lol

    Basic Super Powershot.

    Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator

    Low fuel pressure switch

RPM switch to add timing after 6000 RPM
I drive a hybrid, it burns gas and rubber.
