Do the DSE 2" lowering springs help with traction at all or strictly just for lowering the rear end of a 68 Camaro? I currently have stock multi-leafs and looking at getting the DSE rear springs what do you all think? Opinions?

Dont know if you will gain much traction improvement but it could help slightly since it "should" have less wheel hop with performance springs. The biggest difference you could make is some traction bars. There are lots of companies that make rear traction bars for the leaf spring setup on the 1st Gen Camaros.
Competition Engineering makes a nice rear traction control setup that should definitely help you in that department. Check them out Im sure Jegs or Summit racing has some good prices on them:
There is also this option the CalTrack bars Classic Industries carries these ones check their pricing and compare. These are $399. Not sure what the other ones run...
Here are the details on these traction bars give yo an idea what Im talking about:
1967-69 CALTRACS TRACTION BARS - LOW PROFILE
Developed by Super Stock champion John Calvert, these traction bars are the answer to "hooking up" high horsepower with your leaf spring suspension car. This simple bolt-on kit requires no welding or alterations to the stock suspenson. CalTracs redirect spring wrap-up force into the front pivot points, transferring weight to the rear of the car. Your car will launch harder with greatly improved 60-foot times, while maintaining correct pinion angle. Opposing threads on the transfer link make pre-load adjustments simple. Finished in black powdercoat, CalTracs are approved by major sanctioning bodies like the NHRA, NMCA and PSCA.
Important: Low profiles are designed for lowered street driven vehicles and give an additional 1.5" of ground clearance with full pre-load adjustability.
